Joe Platek Joins ACS Group as Application Engineer for Size Reduction Division

ACS Group is please to welcome Joe Platek, new Application Engineer for the Size Reduction Division, where he assists the Product Specialists with layouts and concept drawings. Joe also helps to run the test lab for customers and sales representatives with various materials on large and small scales as well as speak with new customers to gather all of the proper information for their specific needs.

Prior to joining ACS Group, Joe worked for Brazing Manufacturer and was an Application Engineer for 3 years at Lucas Milhaupt, Inc.

With his first Application Engineering position working in the plastics industry, Joe's goals are to "apply past work experience and education in this new area of manufacturing," where he will "enhance my knowledge base to broaden my skills as an engineer."

Going out and seeing as many customers as he can, Joe will "get the full, first-hand view of the products," where he will increase his knowledge to better assist sales representatives and customers in choosing the equipment that will fit their needs.

Joe attended Marquette University where he earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and has earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
